Not even in Ireland would you hear a sound as rich, full bodied and unique as Zeon. Like a fine Irish single malt, their liberated melodies were distilled in the streets of Ireland and matured in the laneways and bars of Melbourne, Australia.

The four piece, which fuses traditional and modern Irish tunes, with hints of folk, bluegrass and country, consist of Zenita O’Neill (vocals, bodhrán and guitar), Tommy O’Neill (fiddle), James Wisely (guitar, vocals and mandolin) and Tyler Campbell (drums).

A shared love for playing folk music has seen Zeon evolve into a formidable live act. Playing small venues throughout Melbourne has led to the release of their popular EPs ‘Time Flies',  ‘Drifter’ and their self-titled 'Zeon' EP. They toured throughout Ireland in 2017 with great success, and have appeared at numerous festivals and events including the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Brunswick Music Festival, National Celtic Festival, Koroit Irish Festival (Artist of the Year 2018), Hyde Park in Sydney and AAMI Park stadium (Melbourne).

Now in their sixth year, Zeon are gathering momentum with a widespread following. Zeon’s commitment to their performance will make you stomp, sing and shed a tear as you hear new tunes and old favourites. With a musical style to savour, and a distinctly Irish flavour, Zeon will bring the old country to life in new and unexpected ways.
